Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a WAF Engineer located in Hyderabad. The WAF Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing Web Application Firewalls (WAF), monitoring and analyzing web traffic, and ensuring the security of web applications. Daily tasks will include configuring WAF policies, identifying and mitigating web vulnerabilities, and collaborating with development and operations teams to enhance application security. Additionally, the WAF Engineer will conduct regular security assessments and provide recommendations for improving web application defenses.

Qualifications

  • Skills in Computer Science and Programming
  • Experience in Back-End Web Development and Software Development
  • Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong understanding of web security principles and best practices
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or equivalent are a plus
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Proficiency in English communication, both written and verbal
