Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Java Backend Developer. The Java Backend Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend services and systems. Their day-to-day tasks will include writing clean, efficient, and reusable code, debugging and resolving technical issues, and collaborating with frontend developers and other team members to integrate various components. Additionally, the Java Backend Developer will participate in code reviews, ensure software quality, and stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Java and understanding of object-oriented programming principles
  • Experience with backend frameworks and technologies, such as Spring, Hibernate, and RESTful API development
  • Knowledge of database systems and SQL
  • Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git
  • Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code for performance
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure, is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is preferred
