We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Java Developer with proven expertise in integrating APIs for leading airline reservation systems such as Amadeus, Sabre, and Navitaire. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of GDS/CRS platforms, airline booking workflows, and the ability to design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance applications across the technology stack.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications supporting airline booking and reservation systems.
  • Integrate APIs from Amadeus, Sabre, Navitaire, and other major travel technology providers.
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices to support dynamic front-end applications.
  • Participate in the complete software development lifecyclefrom requirements analysis and design to coding, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Develop responsive front-end interfaces using Angular, React, or similar frameworks.
  • Optimize backend systems for high availability, performance, and security.
  • Collaborate with product managers, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver robust, high-quality solutions.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry standards and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in staging and production environments.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends in the airline and travel technology domain.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Full Stack Java Development.
  • Proven expertise in integrating APIs for Amadeus, Sabre, and Navitaire.
  • Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and related backend frameworks.
  • Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices.
  • Front-end proficiency with Angular, React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Solid understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
  • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Deep understanding of airline reservation processes, fare rules, ticketing, and PNR lifecycle.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in the airline or travel technology industry.
  • Experience working with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments.
  • Understanding of security and compliance standards such as PCI-DSS and IATA NDC.
  • Exposure to test automation and performance optimization tools.
  • Educational Background: Graduate from BITS Pilani, IIT, or DTU, preferably with a JEE Advanced rank under 2000.
