Job Description: Java PWA Developer (2–3 Years Experience)

We are seeking a Java Developer with experience building Progressive Web Applications (PWAs) to join our development team. The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of hands-on experience in Java-based application development and is comfortable working with modern web technologies. You will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining PWA features within our Java-powered platforms, ensuring high performance, reliability, and a smooth user experience across both desktop and mobile.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain web applications using Java (Spring Boot, Vaadin, or similar).
  • Implement and optimize PWA features including service workers, caching strategies, offline support, and app manifest configuration.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate Java backends with responsive, installable web interfaces.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve performance, security, and compatibility issues.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 2–3 years of experience in Java development (Spring Boot, Vaadin, Jakarta EE, or similar).
  • Practical knowledge of PWA technologies (service workers, Web App Manifest, offline caching).
  • Experience with modern web frameworks (Angular, React, Vue, or Vaadin Flow).
  • Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and responsive UI principles.
  • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development processes.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with build tools (Maven/Gradle).
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Understanding of SEO, performance optimization, and Web Vitals.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40, ₹60,000.00 per year
