We also operate across Tata Alternate Channels with 100 stores (including Pravesh and Colors) and are proud Market Leaders with 45% share in South Bengal for Tata Steel. Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Business Manager to lead our retail and distribution operations. The ideal candidate will drive growth, ensure operational excellence, and strengthen relationships across retail networks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee retail and distribution operations for Tata Steel products across designated regions.
- Drive sales growth and ensure achievement of monthly/annual revenue targets.
- Manage and build strong relationships with exclusive and multi-branded retail stores.
- Expand business through Tata Alternate Channels (Pravesh and Colors).
- Analyze market trends, competitor strategies, and align business accordingly.
- Optimize budgets, control costs, and ensure profitability.
- Lead and mentor retail sales and distribution teams to achieve organizational goals.
- Ensure smooth operations across locations including South Bengal, North Bengal, and North East markets.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
- 7–12 years of experience in retail, distribution, or business management (experience in steel, construction, or building materials preferred).
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management abilities.
- Proven track record in achieving sales and managing large-scale distribution.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
