Role Description

We are looking for a 
creative and detail-oriented Product Designer
 to join our team. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. The Product Designer will play a crucial role in shaping and designing Hobby Ghar's offerings—including 
DIY kits, workshops, classes, and other hobby-based products.

The ideal candidate will blend design thinking, creativity, and user empathy
 to deliver products that are visually appealing, functional, and engaging for learners of all ages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and conceptualize 
    DIY hobby kits
     (packaging, instructions, and overall user experience).
  • Collaborate with instructors to design 
    workshop/class structures, learning materials, and engaging formats.
  • Work with cross-functional teams (designers, teachers, event coordinators, and vendors) to ensure products are practical, scalable, and learner-friendly.
  • Conduct user research
     to understand learner needs, motivations, and challenges.
  • Develop 
    prototypes, mockups, and visual assets
     to bring product ideas to life.
  • Maintain and evolve 
    brand design standards
     across all Hobby Ghar products.
  • Constantly explore new trends in art, crafts, and hobbies to innovate product ideas.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in 
    Product Design, Industrial Design, UX/UI, Fine Arts, or related fields.
  • 2–4 years of experience in product design, preferably in DIY kits, education, crafts, or consumer products.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, storytelling, and practical design execution.
  • Proficiency in design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar).
  • Knowledge of materials, packaging, and instructional design
     is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Passionate about 
    hobbies, creativity, and learning experiences.
