Job Overview

Reliance Retail is seeking an Executive Product Designer for Home Hardgoods, located in Bengaluru. This full-time position requires expertise in product design, focusing on hard goods and home decor. The role emphasizes creating innovative design concepts, utilizing skills in 3D modeling and Adobe Illustrator to deliver exceptional product solutions.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience in product design with a focus on home hardgoods, showcasing a diverse portfolio of successful designs.
  • Strong proficiency in 3D modeling and rendering software to create realistic and detailed product visuals.
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Illustrator for creating precise design concepts and illustrations that communicate product features effectively.
  • Extensive knowledge of design trends in the home decor industry, with the ability to apply these trends meaningfully in product development.
  • Excellent understanding of material properties and manufacturing processes to ensure practical and scalable product designs.
  • Ability to translate customer insights and market research into innovative design solutions that enhance user experiences.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address design challenges creatively while maintaining product functionality and aesthetics.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with merchandising, engineering, and marketing teams.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Design and develop innovative product concepts for home hardgoods that align with Reliance Retail's quality and aesthetic standards.

  • Create detailed design specifications and prototypes to guide product development and ensure design integrity from concept to final product.

  • Work closely with manufacturing partners to ensure feasibility and cost-effectiveness of design proposals.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance design solutions and processes.
