Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Azure Data Factory Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data integration solutions on the Azure platform. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF), ETL processes, and data orchestration to support our data engineering and analytics initiatives.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy data pipelines using Azure Data Factory.
  • Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes for data ingestion, transformation, and loading from various sources.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure data accuracy and system performance.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and business teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Implement best practices for data security, governance, and performance tuning in Azure environments.
  • Work with Azure services such as Azure SQL Database, Blob Storage, Synapse Analytics, and Data Lake Storage.
  • Automate workflows and data orchestration to improve efficiency.
  • Document technical designs and operational procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4 to 7 years of experience in data integration and ETL development.
  • Strong expertise in Azure Data Factory, including pipeline creation, triggers, mapping data flows, and integration runtime.
  • Experience with other Azure data services like Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse, and Blob Storage.
  • Proficient in SQL and scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation and data manipulation.
  • Understanding of data warehousing concepts and big data technologies is a plus.
  • Experience with version control, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices is beneficial.
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders.
