Role Description

This is an on-site role for an Independent Director located in Hyderabad. The Independent Director will be responsible for overseeing and guiding the strategic direction of the company. Day-to-day tasks include attending board meetings, providing independent judgment on corporate decisions, reviewing financial performance, assessing risk management processes, and ensuring that the company's policies and practices align with its vision and values. The role also involves collaborating with other board members and the executive team to support the company's growth and sustainability objectives.

Qualifications

  • Experience in corporate governance, strategic planning, and financial oversight.
  • Strong understanding of energy, infrastructure, and technology sectors.
  • Ability to provide independent judgment and constructive criticism.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Track record of responsible and sustainable decision-making.
  • Proven ability to assess and manage risks effectively.
  • Prior experience on corporate boards is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
