Job Description Accounts & Finance Executive

Responsibilities:

The candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting and finance activities, including but not limited to:

  1. Invoicing & Compliance

  2. Preparation of client invoices (including e-invoices) as per requirements.

  3. Compilation and preparation of data for GSTR-1 filing.

  4. Accounting & Taxation

  5. General accounting of vendors and related entries.

  6. Calculation, payment, and compliance of TDS within statutory timelines.

  7. Preparation of GST and TDS monthly data for return filings.

  8. Reconciliations

  9. Regular reconciliation of Clients, Vendors, and Bank accounts.

  10. Banking & Treasury

  11. Liaising with banks for day-to-day requirements.

  12. Handling of fixed deposits, working capital facilities, and interest calculations.

  13. Closings & Reporting

  14. Month-end closings and preparation of MIS reports (P/L, ageings and others).

  15. Preparation of financial data for management and statutory reporting.

  16. Payments

  17. Processing of vendor payments, statutory payments, and related documentation.

  18. Follow up for timely recovery of payments from clients, cash flow management.

  19. Audit Support

  20. Coordinating with internal and statutory auditors for audit facilitation.

  21. Supporting half-yearly and yearly financial closings.

  22. Financial Data for Tenders

  23. Preparation of turnover certificates, net worth certificates, and related documentation for tender submissions.

  24. Schedules & Reports

  25. Preparation of various like Fixed Asset Register (FAR) and major tax audit clauses.

Candidate Requirements

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills (an added advantage).
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally/ERP preferred).
  • Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and general accounting principles.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: B.Com / M.Com / CA dropout / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.
  • Experience: 4–5 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
