Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Analyse existing pump systems to identify performance gaps, efficiency issues, and upgrade requirements.
  • Carry out reverse engineering of pumps, including measurement, material analysis, and design enhancement.
  • Design and implement modifications or upgrades to improve reliability, capacity, or process compatibility.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports, drawings, and documentation for proposed modifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Design, Production, Quality, Sales) for smooth execution of projects.
  • Provide on-site technical support during installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of modified pumps.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety norms, and company quality procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of project timelines, costs, and performance improvements achieved.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience in pump maintenance, design, retrofit, or rotating equipment engineering.
  • Hands-on experience in reverse engineering, performance testing, and pump system analysis preferred.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic design, materials selection, and engineering standards (API, ISO) is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in CAD tools and basic project documentation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
