Job overview

This job role requires one to take complete accountability for:

  • End-to-end design, development, review and roll-out of training content for new hires, projects and learning interventions (customer experience/ conversation skill / cross-skill / refresher) undertaken by the Learning team, using innovative learning methodologies to enhance participant knowledge retention and skill application to help achieve business results
  • Learning Management System (LMS) management, including uploading and assigning content, roll-outs of digital modules across, providing reports to the business and clients
  • Managing a team of content designers and/or developers, including team development, and people management through effective reviewing, planning and utilisation of resources
  • The key output of this role is to enable the team to extend support in meeting business targets and contribute to the CC plan

Key responsibilities and duties

  • Planning, designing, implementing and deploying skill set specific projects undertaken to enhance skill set efficiency and/or effectiveness
  • Create and constantly refresh a pool of loan designers/developers and ensure readiness through upskill and cross skill
  • Have knowledge of design principles to be able to review content from an instructional design perspective. Review content built for correctness and fit for purpose, obtain sign-offs for content from the various stakeholders, and deploy content whether Instructor-led, digital or both.
  • End-to-end management of the Learning Management System (LMS), including uploading and assigning content, roll-outs of digital modules across, providing reports to the business and clients, and also working with the IT team to rectify issues.

Skills and characteristics

  • Demonstrate good business acumen and customer focus
  • Excellent written and verbal skills in the English language
  • Application of existing learning principles and models, and awareness of future trends
  • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook or similar applications
  • Working knowledge of Learning Management Systems
  • Working knowledge of digital content design tools, such as Articulate, Captivate, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar applications
  • Working knowledge of AI tools such as Copilot, Second Nature, Colossyan, or similar applications
  • Ability to manage a team; Leadership skills to positively influence the team
