Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients under the supervision of a Nuclear Medicine Physician.
  • Operate and maintain gamma cameras, PET-CT scanners, and SPECT systems for diagnostic imaging.
  • Conduct imaging procedures, process images, and ensure data quality and patient safety.
  • Follow strict protocols for radiation safety, waste disposal, and contamination control .
  • Calibrate and perform routine maintenance on imaging equipment.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, dosage logs, and equipment usage reports.
  • Educate patients on the procedures and ensure comfort during tests.
  • Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals for accurate diagnosis.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong technical knowledge of nuclear medicine imaging systems and isotopes.
  • Understanding of radiation protection principles and IAEA/AERB safety regulations.
  • Excellent patient handling and communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret and process digital imaging data accurately.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
