IT Project Management Senior Advisor

Position Summary:
The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) Program Manager is responsible for defining and supporting the PCI DSS Team by interacting with the regulators, working with business leadership, and the overall project management of the program including work assignments. This role is also responsible for the direct audit support and the management of the governance obligations. This individual will work with business, technology, and solution teams to develop artefacts that support the program overall long-term business objective. This individual must possess a strong understanding of Cigna processes and capabilities across all integrated application/business work streams.
Experience Required:
- Qualified candidates will typically have years of professional IT work experience and managing projects/initiatives.
- A Master's degree or Agile certification is a plus.
- Cyber Security experience/background is mandate.
Job Description & Responsibilities:
The activities handled during this timeframe are:
- Define and communicate the program vision, strategy, and objectives in alignment with organizational goals.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple projects within the program.
- Coordinate and manage cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Develop and maintain program plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Identify and manage program risks, dependencies, and issues, ensuring timely resolution.
- Monitor program performance and metrics, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration among project teams and stakeholders.
- Facilitate program governance meetings and decision-making processes.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and best practices within the program.
- Be the first escalation point when issues arise within the PCI space.
- Serve as a subject matter regardless of what methodology is used to execute.
- Communicate the importance of and drive team's compliance with Cigna policies and procedures.

Experience Desired:
Demonstrated experience establishing and delivering complex projects/initiatives within agreed upon parameters while achieving the benefits and/or value-added results.
Demonstrated core project management skills including project planning, scope management, issue and risk management, resource planning, financial management, etc.
- Experience with Agile delivery methodology.
