Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Production Supervisor located in Ludhiana. The Production Supervisor will oversee daily production activities, including planning and managing production schedules. Responsibilities also include coordinating with team members, ensuring quality standards are met, and improving overall production efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure production schedules are followed and jobs are completed on time
  • Monitor daily output and adjust resources as needed
  • Supervise technicians, machinists, welders, fitters, assemblers, etc
  • Ensure manufactured parts and machines meet required specifications
  • Coordinate with quality inspectors for in-process and final inspections
  • Liaise with design, planning, quality, purchase, and stores departments
  • Suggest and implement lean manufacturing practices or 5S on the shop floor
  • Assign tasks and monitor team performance
  • Maintain production logs, downtime reports, and performance data
