Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Bookkeeping


• Maintain daily accounting records, including journal entries, sales/purchase entries, and expense tracking.


• Handle accounts receivable/payable, invoice generation, and vendor payments.


• Reconcile bank statements, customer/vendor ledgers, and inventory records.

Taxation & Compliance


• Prepare and file GST returns, TDS, and other statutory compliances in a timely manner.


• Assist with audits, internal checks, and financial reporting.


• Ensure adherence to tax laws and jewelry industry regulations.

Inventory & Valuation


• Coordinate with the inventory team to match financial records with stock movement (gold, diamonds, and finished products).


• Assist in the valuation and costing of products as per accounting standards.


• Maintain records of metal purity, wastage, and hallmarking as applicable.

Reporting & Documentation


• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and MIS.


• Maintain documentation for purchases, sales, import/export (if applicable), and insurance records.


• Assist in budget preparation, cash flow projections, and financial analysis.

Operational Support


• Work closely with retail/store teams to ensure accurate billing and POS integration.


• Liaise with banks, auditors, suppliers, and tax consultants as needed.


• Support the finance team during physical stock audits and reconciliations.

Qualifications:


• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (CA Inter/M.Com is a plus).


• 2–5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the jewelry, luxury retail, or high-value goods sector.


• Strong knowledge of Tally ERP / Tally Prime, Excel, and GST frameworks.


• Familiarity with jewelry billing systems and inventory control (e.g., Ginesys, Logic, Marg, etc.).


• High attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and confidentiality.
