Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Manual Tester – Team Leader to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual testing, exceptional communication skills, and proven experience in handling clients directly. This role requires leadership qualities to guide a small QA team while ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of QA testers, ensuring effective task allocation and timely delivery.
  • Perform detailed manual testing for web, mobile, and enterprise applications.
  • Prepare and execute test plans, test cases, and test reports.
  • Identify, document, and track defects while working closely with the development team for resolution.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand requirements, clarify expectations, and provide regular updates.
  • Ensure adherence to QA processes, best practices, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with project managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Conduct review meetings and provide feedback to improve overall team efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3–4 years of proven experience in manual testing, with at least 1 year in a team lead/mentoring role.
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, defect life cycle, and testing methodologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (must be client-facing).
  • Hands-on experience in creating and executing test cases, test scenarios, and test reports.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects, deadlines, and client expectations effectively.
  • Experience in client handling and requirement gathering discussions.

Good to Have:

  • Exposure to automation tools or willingness to learn.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology.
  • Knowledge of bug-tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
