We are looking for a
Lead Manual Tester

to take ownership of the testing process and guide a team of testers in delivering flawless software solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in manual testing methodologies, test planning, and team coordination, preferably in applications built using
ASP.Net, C#.Net, HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, and MS SQL

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor the QA/testing team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of testing activities.

  • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements and define test strategies.

  • Design, review, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

  • Oversee all phases of manual testing — including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.

  • Identify, log, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools and ensure timely resolution.

  • Conduct root cause analysis of recurring defects to drive quality improvements.

  • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and review meetings to align QA efforts with development goals.

  • Implement and maintain QA best practices, testing standards, and documentation processes.

  • Provide regular status reports on test progress, risks, and quality metrics to stakeholders.

  • Stay updated on the latest testing methodologies, tools, and industry trends to enhance QA efficiency.

Requirements:

  • 5–7 years of hands-on experience in
    manual testing

, with at least 2 years in a
lead or senior QA role

.

  • Experience in testing applications across different domains such as ERP, eCommerce, or SaaS platforms will be an added advantage. Candidates with exposure to business workflows and end-to-end functional testing in these domains will be preferred.

  • Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, defect lifecycle, and agile methodologies.

  • Proven experience in writing detailed test cases, test plans, and test reports.

  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

  • Ability to coordinate and guide a team of testers effectively.

  • Experience with
    bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar)

  • Knowledge of
    ASP.Net, C#.Net, HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, and MS SQL

is advantageous.

Education:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
