Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Sourcing Specialist for the Helmet Industry to join our team in Delhi. This is a full-time, mid-level position that requires 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience. The ideal candidate will drive the strategic sourcing process for helmet manufacturing, ensuring excellent quality standards and optimal cost efficiency through effective vendor management and supply chain strategies.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience in vendor management, particularly in manufacturing or helmet industry environments (Mandatory skill).
  • Strong expertise in cost analysis to optimize sourcing expenses and support budgetary targets (Mandatory skill).
  • Demonstrated track record in quality assurance, ensuring all sourced components meet industry standards (Mandatory skill).
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems for integrated sourcing and procurement workflows.
  • Advanced negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with suppliers while maintaining partnership integrity.
  • Proficiency in strategic sourcing methodologies, including demand analysis and supplier evaluation for continuous improvement.
  • Excellent knowledge in supply chain optimization, from raw material procurement to delivery for maximized efficiency and reduced risk.
  • Capability to perform thorough market research to benchmark suppliers and identify new sourcing opportunities, aligning with business goals.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Identify, evaluate, and establish partnerships with relevant vendors and suppliers within the helmet industry to ensure highest quality and cost efficiency.
  • Conduct comprehensive cost analysis to drive down operational expenditure and achieve competitive pricing across procurement activities.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance protocols, coordinating with suppliers for continuous improvement in materials and finished products.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand sourcing needs, ensure timely procurement, and support new product development initiatives.
  • Leverage ERP systems to streamline sourcing processes, monitor purchase orders, and maintain updated supplier data and records.
  • Negotiate contract terms, prices, and service levels, balancing company interests with long-term supplier relationships.
  • Analyze supply chain workflows and implement optimization strategies to improve efficiency and minimize supply disruptions.
  • Stay updated on market trends and industry best practices to proactively recommend alternative sourcing strategies and cost-saving opportunities.
