Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our finance team. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing accurate reports, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, and providing insightful analysis to support financial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Recordkeeping: Maintain and manage accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial statements, reports, and summaries for management review. Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies. Assist with audits and regulatory filings as required.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, monitoring financial performance against targets, and providing variance analysis.
  • Transaction Management: Process and review transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Reconcile discrepancies and resolve issues as needed.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings or revenue enhancement. Provide recommendations based on findings.
  • Record Maintenance: Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records and transactions in accordance with company policy and regulatory requirements.
  • System Management: Utilize accounting software and systems to record transactions, generate reports, and streamline financial processes. Stay updated on system upgrades and enhancements.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to gather financial information, support business operations, and address financial queries or concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
  • Experience: [X] years of experience in accounting or a related field. Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and audit processes preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills. Familiarity with financial regulations and standards.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information clearly.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
