About the Role: Cluster Head

We're looking for a dynamic Cluster Head to lead operations across multiple Lighthouse Centres. This is a key leadership role focused on driving program excellence, team performance, stakeholder collaboration, and strategic execution.

Key Responsibilities

Centre Operations & Program Delivery

• Oversee day-to-day Lighthouse operations across all centres in the cluster
• Ensure quality program implementation — from community outreach to alumni engagement
• Drive achievement of skilling and livelihood targets as per government and donor MoUs
• Support Regional Head in program planning, budgeting, HR, and monitoring activities

Team Leadership & Culture Building

• Build and manage a high-performing, mission-aligned team
• Conduct staff performance reviews and support continuous development
• Foster a work culture rooted in empathy, inclusion, integrity, and courage

Stakeholder & Community Engagement

• Build partnerships with government officials, corporates, NGOs, and local influencers
• Represent Lighthouse at external events, donor visits, and political/community meetings
• Mobilize community support and enable youth placements and volunteering opportunities

Strategy, Reporting & Innovation

• Coordinate with the Head Office on documentation, process adherence, and reporting
• Collaborate with finance and donor teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting
• Identify new skilling and placement partners and foster innovative program solutions
• Support all major donor events and Lighthouse launches in your cluster

Who We're Looking For

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, or related fields
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in the development sector, preferably in skilling, livelihoods, or youth programs
• Prior experience managing multi-centre operations or leading program teams

Skills & Competencies

• Strong leadership, team management, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Excellent communication in English & Hindi (Regional language is a plus)
• Proficiency in MS Office, PowerPoint, and project management tools
• Ability to work independently, multitask, and adapt in dynamic environments
• High emotional intelligence, integrity, and commitment to youth development
• Willingness to travel regularly within the region
