Role Overview:
The Mall Manager / Center Head is responsible for the strategic planning, operational management, and overall profitability of the mall. This role entails ensuring seamless operations, tenant relations, marketing initiatives, and financial growth while providing an exceptional customer experience. The CAO is accountable and responsible for all the departments reports—daily, monthly , quarterly, and yearly— are checked, verified, and timely made by the team and sent to the reporting head as per the schedule & check list. The overview role & responsibilities will be in coordination with the Service office of Beyond Squarefeet at Mumbai.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operations Management:
- Supervise the day-to-day operations of the mall, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, security, and maintenance.
- Implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to optimize operational efficiency as per training and formats provided by the SO team, Mumbai.
- Liaise with vendors and contractors for facility management, utilities, and technical services.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety norms, and fire safety standards.
2. Tenant Relations and Leasing:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants to address their needs and concerns.
- Negotiate lease terms and agreements, ensuring timely renewals and rent collection.
- Optimize the tenant mix by collaborating with the leasing team to attract premium brands.
- Monitor tenant performance and provide support to boost sales and footfall.
3. Marketing and Promotions:
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies with SO team,Mumbai to increase mall traffic and revenue.
- Plan and manage promotional campaigns, events, and community engagement activities.
- Collaborate with advertising agencies for branding and communication initiatives.
- Leverage digital platforms and social media to promote mall activities and offers.
4. Financial and Budget Management:
- Prepare and manage the mall's annual budget, ensuring cost control and resource optimization.
- Monitor financial performance, including revenue streams, operating expenses, and net profit.
- Implement effective expense reduction strategies to improve profitability.
- Generate and present monthly financial reports to senior management.
- Responsible and accountable to ensure all reports of accounts are made as per the time lines of the checklist with accurate data.
- Ensuring all the payments recipts are received timely from all the retailers and coordinate with respective heads of the Brands to clear all outstanding as per the terms of the agreement.
5. Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead, train, and mentor the operations, marketing, and security teams for optimal performance as per the SOP set.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and accountability within the team.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Address grievances and ensure employee satisfaction and retention.
6. Customer Experience:
- Monitor customer feedback and implement measures to enhance the shopping experience.
- Ensure accessibility and customer-friendly facilities for diverse demographics.
- Resolve escalated customer complaints promptly and professionally.
Qualifications :
- Experience in Mall Management, Retail Management, or Commercial Property Management
- Strong skills in Lease Management and Tenant Coordination
- Proficiency in Financial Planning, Budgeting, and Cost Management
- Excellent Marketing and Customer Relationship Management skills
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
