Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented
Magento Backend Developer
with 2–6 years of hands-on experience in Magento 2. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing custom modules, integrating third-party systems, and optimizing backend performance of eCommerce websites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain custom
    Magento 2
    modules and features.
  • Develop and integrate
    APIs
    for third-party systems (payment gateways, shipping, ERP, CRM, etc.).
  • Manage and optimize
    Magento backend processes
    such as product imports, catalog management, checkout flow, and order processing.
  • Work with frontend developers to deliver fully integrated solutions.
  • Ensure high performance, scalability, and security of backend systems.
  • Write clean, reusable, and well-documented
    PHP
    code following Magento coding standards.
  • Perform regular code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with QA for testing and debugging issues.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot backend performance and server-side issues.
  • Implement caching strategies (e.g., Varnish, Redis) and index optimization.

  • Experience with

  • Knowledge of
    performance optimization

  • Understanding of

    for eCommerce platforms.
  • Familiarity with
    Linux environments
    , basic shell scripting, and cron jobs.
