About the Role:

We are seeking a talented
Magento Developer
to join our team at DeepCoder. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining Magento-based eCommerce websites. You will work closely with our design, development, and business teams to deliver high-quality digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, customize, and maintain Magento (Magento 2 preferred) websites.
  • Build and integrate new modules, extensions, and features.
  • Optimize performance, speed, and scalability of Magento applications.
  • Debug and troubleshoot technical issues across Magento sites.
  • Ensure cross-browser, cross-platform, and mobile compatibility.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement responsive and user-friendly designs.
  • Maintain code quality, standards, and best practices.
  • Stay updated with the latest Magento and eCommerce trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience of
    2–4 years
    in Magento development (Magento 2 preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of
    PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
    .
  • Experience with
    Magento themes, extensions, and module development
    .
  • Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs and third-party integrations (payment gateways, shipping, etc.).
  • Knowledge of version control systems (Git).
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with cloud hosting platforms (AWS, DigitalOcean, etc.).
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices for eCommerce websites.
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
