Nextgen Technology Limited is a UK Headquartered Company in the business of selling automated and manual testing services and our SW based automation product, ATAMConnect. Our testing services are focused in the area of connectivity and cover wireless products and systems for our clients (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth Low Energy). Our current customers include well-known brands in automotive, audio, mobile device, HID, semiconductor and medical products.

We are seeking to recruit a well-organized, enthusiastic, deadline-oriented
Sr. Software Engineer / Lead Engineer
at our India office to manage and develop and steer a number of current development projects across a variety of global customers.

Eligibility Criteria

Education: Full-time degrees only — Engineering Graduates / Post Graduate BCA, MCA.

Experience : Proven experience of 12+ years in software development with a focus on desktop applications and relevant technologies (WPF, cross platform etc.)

Location: Chandigarh (India)


 Required skillset and Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality desktop applications using windows-based programming technologies.
  • Strong working experience on C#, Windows Forms / WPF / WCF.
  • Develop high-performance, extensive working experience in building windows-based N- tiered applications based on Microsoft .NET framework using C#, and SQL Server technologies.
  • Implementation of OOP principles and design patterns.
  • Hands-on experience with socket programming (TCP/IP, UDP) and network communication protocols.
  • Implement and optimize network/socket programming solutions for efficient data communication.
  • Develop and integrate test frameworks to ensure robustness and reliability of software applications.
  • Utilize Linux/Mac programming skills to support cross-platform development and deployment.
  • Good experience in high-level and low-level design specifications for applications, windows services, and databases.
  • Expertise in network/socket programming, test frameworks programming, Linux/Mac programming, and low-level programming.
  • Engage in low-level programming tasks to optimize performance and address system-level requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product management and quality assurance.
