Role Overview:

We are hiring a smart, capable full stack developer with strong Python (Flask) skills and solid working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The role involves maintaining and expanding a large existing codebase, implementing new features from the product roadmap, and working directly with company leadership on high-impact initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Flask-based Python backend systems.
  • Implement and improve frontend components using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Work with MySQL databases and AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, RDS).
  • Configure and deploy applications using Nginx, Gunicorn, and Linux (Ubuntu) environments.
  • Manage version control and collaborative development using Git and GitHub.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Collaborate closely with leadership to execute the product roadmap efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Python and Flask.
  • Strong command of CSS (responsive layouts, component styling) and JavaScript (DOM, event handling, basic async patterns).
  • Solid understanding of Git/GitHub workflows (branching, pull requests, code reviews).
  • Experience with relational databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL) and writing efficient SQL.
  • Comfort working on Linux servers, handling deployments and configuration.
  • Clear, structured thinking and ability to learn new technologies quickly.

Preferred (not mandatory):

  • Familiarity with AWS, Docker, or CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience optimizing frontend or backend performance.
  • Exposure to large-scale or data-intensive systems.
