You have an exciting opportunity as a Cloud Architect with a focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Your role involves leveraging your 15+ years of experience in IT to design and implement GCP solutions. Your key responsibilities will include: - Setting up GCP Landing Zone and designing VPCs, including subnets, routing, firewall rules, and VPN/Interconnect - Deploying Compute Engine following best practices and implementing Linux system hardening based on CIS benchmarks - Designing IAM policies with the principle of least privilege and utilizing KMS for encryption - Managing credentials securely using Secret Manager - Developing High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies with a clear understanding of RTO/RPO - Modernizing legacy messaging solutions (e.g., MQ/WebMethods) with Pub/Sub architectures and API-based integrations through Apigee - Ensuring PCI compliance and adhering to TechSec or security best practices Qualifications required for this role include expertise in GCP Landing Zone, VPC design, Linux hardening, and IAM policies.
