About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Penetration Tester / Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing (VAPT) Specialist to join our cybersecurity team. The role involves identifying security vulnerabilities, simulating cyberattacks, and providing actionable insights to strengthen systems, networks, applications, and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) across web apps, mobile apps, APIs, networks, cloud, and infrastructure.
  • Conduct manual and automated penetration tests to uncover vulnerabilities.
  • Simulate real-world cyberattacks (black-box, white-box, and gray-box testing).
  • Document findings and provide detailed reports with risk ratings and mitigation steps.
  • Collaborate with developers, IT, and security teams to remediate vulnerabilities.
  • Stay updated with emerging threats, tools, and exploit techniques.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards (OWASP, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, NIST, etc.).
  • Support red team exercises, threat modeling, and security audits.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in penetration testing / ethical hacking / VAPT.
  • Strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10, SANS 25, CVSS, MITRE ATT&CK.
  • Hands-on with tools such as Burp Suite, Nmap, Metasploit, Kali Linux, Wireshark, Nessus, Qualys, Hydra, etc.
  • Familiarity with secure coding practices and common exploit techniques.
  • Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell) is a plus.
  • Certifications preferred: CEH, OSCP, GPEN, eJPT, CISA, CompTIA Security+.
