Job Title: Chinese Chef de Partie (CDP)

Location: The Mahal Inn, Jamshedpur

Job Type: Full-Time

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Chinese Chef de Partie (CDP) to join our hotel's kitchen team. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality Chinese dishes and helping to manage the Chinese section of the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cook and present Chinese dishes to a high standard
  • Support the Sous Chef and lead junior kitchen staff
  • Keep your section clean, organized, and well-stocked
  • Follow food safety and hygiene standards
  • Help with menu planning and new dish ideas

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a CDP or similar role in a Chinese kitchen
  • Good knowledge of Chinese cooking (e.g. Cantonese, Sichuan, etc.)
  • Able to work well under pressure and in a team
  • Basic English skills are a plus
