Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Business Analyst (BA) with strong expertise in data analytics, business intelligence, and reporting solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with Adobe Business Units and Technical Delivery Teams to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and drive the end-to-end delivery of reporting solutions across Adobes source systems.

This role requires a strong understanding of business processes across Marketing, Sales, Finance, Product Development, and Customer Care, and the ability to turn data into valuable business insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate business strategy, goals, and processes into effective IT and data solutions.
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of reporting and analytics solutions, including dashboards, KPIs, and data visualizations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather user stories and translate them into technical documentation in Agile (JIRA).
  • Design and build database-driven analytics and self-service dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, MicroStrategy, etc.
  • Create impactful data stories, reports, and presentations for business stakeholders.
  • Analyze business functions and performance metrics to provide actionable insights.
  • Build and support OLAP and multi-dimensional data models using MDX/DAX.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and architects to ensure alignment of business and technical goals.
  • Understand integration points with big data platforms (HANA, Hadoop, Redshift) and support ETL/streaming processes.
  • Maintain requirements traceability and documentation in Agile workflows.
  • Adapt quickly to changing requirements and deliver high-quality output.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst/Data Analyst with a focus on data-driven decision making.
  • Hands-on with BI tools: Power BI, Tableau, MicroStrategy (dashboard development a must).
  • Strong SQL skills for direct data access and analysis.
  • Proficiency in OLAP/multi-dimensional cubes and MDX/DAX.
  • Experience in data modeling (Star, Snowflake schemas) and solid understanding of RDBMS concepts.
  • Exposure to Adobe source systems is a plus.
  • Experience with big data platforms such as SAP HANA, Hadoop, Redshift.
  • Solid grasp of Agile/Scrum methodologies, with familiarity with JIRA, Confluence.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Creative, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and within a team.
