This position is a part of the Performance and Consumer Analytics team. This is a global team supporting all our global businesses and enabling strategies through data-driven solutions. Team is based out of Minneapolis Minnesota and Mumbai India location.

We are looking for a Data Engineer who loves using data to tell stories and deeply understanding clients' needs and able to work with others to understand their data issues and guide them with solutions. Someone who wants to work on a variety of brands and data sources and can effectively translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences; has keen eye for details and a knack for optimizing within constraints; prefers forward-thinking approach and solves problem for fun.

Key Accountabilities

Data Foundation Development and Maintenance:

• Comprehend the business needs from stakeholders and explore for the right technology to accomplish the task requirement.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain robust and scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Ensure reliability, scalability and performance of data pipelines.

Data Integration and Ingestion:

• Integrate data from multiple internal and external sources, including databases and files.
• Create data solution architecture that transforms raw data into clean, usable formats aligned with business requirements.
• Maintain data ingestion frameworks and optimize data acquisition strategies.

Database and Data Warehouse Management:

• Implement data partitioning, indexing, and clustering to improve query performance
• Ensure schema consistency, data quality, documentation, and understanding of data from business lens to perform data mapping.
• End to end management of multiple projects with agile mindset

Collaboration and Cross-Functional Support:

• Work closely with BI developers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements
• Build strong relationships with the Data and Technology team to align data governance, security and smooth handover of projects.
• Share knowledge through documentation, presentations, or team training sessions and continuously learn and apply new technologies or patterns in data engineering.

Minimum Qualifications

o   Bachelor's degree from a government recognized institution with certification in Engineering or Computer Application (BE/B. Tech/BCA)

o   Proficiency in SQL and Python programming language

o   Experience in Microsoft excel for data validation and understanding of reporting fundamentals

o   Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and accountability

o   Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment on multiple projects

o   Strong communication, problem-solving and analytical skills

o   Minimum of 3 to 7 years of experience in data engineering or related field

Preferred Qualifications

o   Master's degree from a government recognized institution with certification in Engineering or Computer Application (ME/M. Tech/MCA)

o   Understanding of advance MS Office packages and VBA Macro-based report automation will be preferred.

o   Hands-on experience with data pipeline tools like Apache Airflow or dbt is an advantage.

o   Experience with cloud data platforms other than GCP will be an advantage (e.g., AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse).
