Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Microsoft Fabric Architect with 5-6 years of experience in designing and building data solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, SQL, PySpark, and Azure Databricks. This role requires strong hands-on skills in cloud-based data architecture and modern analytics tools, with an emphasis on data modeling, performance optimization, and advanced data engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and implement modern data platforms using Microsoft Fabric, integrating Power BI, SQL, and Azure Databricks.
  • Build scalable and optimized data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows using SQL and PySpark.
  • Develop robust data models to support business intelligence and analytics use cases.
  • Design and implement data visualization solutions using Power BI.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to define and deliver end-to-end data solutions.
  • Ensure data governance, quality, and security standards are met across the platform.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve the performance of data solutions.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 5 to 6 years of experience in data architecture or data engineering roles.
  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and deep knowledge of Power BI.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data modeling, transformation, and performance tuning.
  • Experience developing data pipelines and transformations using PySpark in Azure Databricks.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure ecosystem (e.g., Azure Storage, Azure SQL).
  • Good understanding of data governance, access control, and compliance in cloud environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
