Job Role: Microsoft Fabric Data Architect/Modeler

Job Type: 6 month + ext.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design & Develop: Architect and build robust data models (Dimensional, Relational, Data Warehousing, OLAP cubes) to support business intelligence and reporting needs.
  • Implement Fabric Solutions: Lead the design and implementation of solutions using Microsoft Fabric, including Fabric Data Pipelines, to integrate and transform data.
  • ETL/ELT Processes: Develop and manage efficient ETL/ELT processes using tools like Azure Data Factory or other similar technologies to build and maintain data pipelines.
  • Data Analysis & Querying: Utilize your expertise in SQL and DAX to query, analyze, and manipulate data, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Business Intelligence: Develop compelling and insightful reports and dashboards using Power BI to enable data-driven decision-making.
  • Cloud Integration: Work extensively with Microsoft Azure services, including Azure Data Lake and Azure SQL Database, to build a cohesive and scalable cloud data ecosystem.
  • Governance & Security: Implement and enforce best practices for data governance, security, and quality within the cloud data environment.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment to deliver high-quality data solutions that meet business requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • years of experience as a Data Architect, Data Modeler, or in a similar role.
  • Must have hands-on experience working with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Fabric Data Pipeline, Azure Data Factory, or similar data integration technologies.
  • Strong background in data modeling methodologies (Dimensional, Relational, Data Warehousing, OLAP cubes).
  • Hands-on experience with SQL, DAX, and other relevant data query languages.
  • Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes, data integration, and data pipeline design.
  • Extensive experience with cloud technologies, particularly Microsoft Azure and related services (e.g., Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database).
  • In-depth understanding of data governance, security, and best practices in cloud data management.
  • Solid experience working in an agile development environment.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹150, ₹200,000.00 per month
