Job Title: UAT Tester Manual Testing & SQL

Location: Hyderabad

Job Type: Full-Time

Experience Level: 4 to 8 Years

Work Mode : 5 days work from office

Timings : 2 PM to 11:00 PM shift( 2 way cab facility + Lunch & Dinner facility will be provided)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive UAT Tester with strong skills in Manual Testing and SQL to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, developers, and QA engineers to ensure that developed software meets business requirements and is free of critical defects. This role is key in validating system functionality from the end-user perspective before production deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand business requirements and define UAT test plans and test cases.
  • Execute manual test cases and report issues clearly and accurately.
  • Perform data validation and backend testing using SQL queries on relational databases.
  • Identify, document, and track defects through resolution using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or equivalent.
  • Participate in UAT planning, scheduling, and coordination of testing activities.
  • Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing as needed.
  • Provide sign-off/recommendation for software readiness from a business users perspective.
  • Work with development teams to reproduce issues and ensure that software modifications meet business expectations.
  • Maintain and update UAT documentation, test case repositories, and summary reports.

Required Qualifications:

  • 4 years of experience in UAT or QA Testing with a focus on Manual Testing.
  • Proficient in writing and executing SQL queries for data validation.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
  • Experience working with Agile or Waterfall project environments.
  • Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr).
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
