Location: Pune, Maharashtra

Experience Required: Chartered Accountant with 5 years of post-qualification experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage audits (statutory, tax, internal, compliance) for clients across industries, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and firm policies.
  • Oversee financial reporting in line with applicable accounting standards (Ind-AS, IFRS as required).
  • Handle direct and indirect tax compliance including GST, TDS, Income Tax, and coordinate with tax authorities for assessments, appeals, and queries.
  • Review and finalize financial statements, MIS reports, cash flow, and budgets.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of accounting records and financial systems.
  • Provide advisory support to clients/management on financial planning, structuring, and risk management.
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing technical guidance and reviewing their work.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external auditors for smooth closure of audits.
  • Stay updated with amendments in accounting standards, taxation, and regulatory frameworks.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Chartered Accountant with 5 years of post-qualification experience in Audit/Tax/Finance (Big 4 or mid-sized firm experience preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards (Ind-AS/IFRS), Companies Act, Income Tax, and GST.
  • Hands-on experience with financial reporting, audits, and compliance.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills to manage teams and client relationships.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
