Role Description

We are looking for a part-time / retainer Chartered Accountant or Company Secretary with experience in startup compliance. This is a remote role focused on ensuring timely and accurate MCA and tax filings once the company is incorporated.

Responsibilities

  • File Form 11 (Annual Return) and Form 8 (Statement of Accounts & Solvency) once applicable
  • Handle DIN e-KYC for Designated Partners
  • File ITR-5 (Income Tax Return) once incorporated
  • Provide basic advisory on audit requirements if turnover thresholds are crossed
  • Maintain compliance calendar to ensure no late fees or penalties

Qualifications

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or Company Secretary (CS)
  • Practical experience with MCA portal and compliance filings
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
  • Familiarity with digital document management and compliance tools is a plus
  • Prior experience handling startup annual filings preferred

Engagement

  • Part-time / freelance (annual engagement)
  • Remote work, flexible hours
  • Expected retainer: ₹5,000 per year (for a small company with no audit requirement)
