Organization: Interior architect and design firm that operates Bangalore. They provide turn-key solutions for Home, Office Spaces, Commercial Spaces, and Retail Spaces. They have completed over 1000+ projects.
Role: We are seeking a highly-skilled, talented and creative Interior Designer. This role presents an exciting opportunity for an individual passionate about design to contribute their expertise and bring aesthetic visions to life.
  1. Collaborate with clients to understand their design needs, preferences, and budget constraints.
  2. Develop design concepts and presentations, including sketches, mood boards, and 3D renderings, to communicate proposed ideas effectively.
  3. Create detailed interior design plans, including space planning, material selection, color schemes, furniture, fixtures, and finishes.
  4. Source and specify furnishings, fabrics, lighting, and accessories that align with the design concept and client requirements.
  5. Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of design plans within project timelines.
  6. Conduct site visits, measurements, and assessments to gather essential information for design development and implementation.
  7. Stay updated on design trends, materials, and industry innovations to bring fresh and innovative ideas to projects.
  8. Prepare and present design proposals, including cost estimates and timelines, to clients for approval.
  9. Oversee project progress, manage budgets, and address any design-related issues or modifications throughout the project lifecycle.
  10. Uphold quality standards and ensure that designs comply with building codes, regulations, and health/safety standards.

Candidate:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
  2. Experience (1-2 years) working as an interior designer, preferably with a portfolio showcasing diverse projects.
  3. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, or other relevant design tools.
  4. Strong artistic and creative skills with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and project stakeholders.
  6. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and budgets.
  7. Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to interior design.
  8. Strong understanding of materials, finishes, furnishings, and spatial planning.
  9. Ability to adapt to clients' preferences while bringing fresh and innovative design solutions.
  10. Membership in professional design associations or certifications is a plus.
