Role Overview

We are seeking an
ambitious and passionate Automation & Controls Engineer
with strong hands-on experience working with PLCs, stepper motor systems, and weigh-scale/checkweigher technologies. You will be involved in machine integration, troubleshooting, testing, and system optimisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program, configure, and troubleshoot
    PLC-based automation systems
    .
  • Work with
    stepper motor drivers
    , ensuring precise motion control and calibration.
  • Configure and maintain
    load cell and checkweigher systems
    for accurate measurement and performance.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to develop, integrate, and refine custom industrial automation solutions.
  • Perform on-site installation, testing, and technical support for customers when required.
  • Document system configuration, workflow, and service reports.
  • Continuously explore and learn new technologies relevant to our automation and printing systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Diploma / Bachelor's degree in
    Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics / Instrumentation Engineering
    (or related field).
  • Hands-on expertise
    with:

-PLC programming (e.g., Siemens / Allen Bradley / Mitsubishi / Delta)

-Stepper motor drivers and motion control systems

-Load cells and checkweigher systems (Integration and troubleshooting)

-
HMI interfacing

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ambitious mindset
    with a passion for continuous learning and innovation.
