Job Purpose:

The Pricing & Quote Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the sales and business development teams by analyzing customer requirements, preparing competitive quotes, and ensuring accurate product recommendations based on BOQs and RFQs. The role involves close collaboration with technical and factory teams to manage non-standard material inputs, maintain pricing competitiveness in a dynamic market, and ensure smooth communication across departments for timely opportunity closures.

BOQ Analysis & Product Suggestion:

Read and analyze customer/salesperson-submitted BOQs using SFDC Quote Maker and suggest appropriate products.

RFQ & Specification Review

Analyze customer RFQs and technical specifications to ensure accurate pricing and product alignment.

Technical Collaboration

Coordinate with technical and factory teams for inputs on non-standard/custom material requirements.

Competitive Pricing Strategy

Develop pricing strategies based on fluctuating raw material costs and current market standards.

Opportunity Closure Follow-up

Track and follow up on opportunities under negotiation to ensure timely closure and conversion.

Information Flow Management

Ensure smooth and timely exchange of information between sales, design, and factory teams regarding MOQ, TDS, QAPs, etc.

Requirements, Skills & Competencies

  • Bachelors degree in engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in pricing, quotation, or sales support roles in manufacturing or industrial sectors.
  • Experience with SFDC (Salesforce) or similar CRM/quotation tools preferred.
  • Exposure to wiring, cable, or electrical products industry is advantageous.
