About the Role

We are looking for a passionate
Robotics Engineer
to join our innovative startup and contribute to building resilient autonomous marine vessels. You will work closely with experienced engineers and founding members, gaining hands-on exposure to
robotics technologies
such as navigation algorithms, control systems, sensor fusion, computer vision, SLAM, ROS/ROS2, Gazebo, and Unity simulations. This role offers the opportunity to design, develop, and test autonomy components while solving real-world challenges in marine environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and optimize algorithms for autonomous navigation, planning, and perception.
  • Develop clean, modular, and well-tested code in C++/Python.
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and improve system performance.
  • Work with robotics frameworks (ROS/ROS2, Gazebo) and enhance simulator capabilities.
  • Integrate and test sensors (LIDAR, IMU, ultrasonic) with robotic subsystems.
  • Document findings, prepare reports, and contribute to internal tools for visualization and testing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, CSE, ECE, EEE, or related fields.
  • Strong proficiency in
    C++ and Python
    , with solid debugging skills.
  • Familiarity with OOP, design patterns, Git, Linux, and CMake.
  • Hands-on experience with
    ROS/ROS2, Gazebo
    , and robotics sensor integration.
  • Understanding of subsystems like control, localization, planning, and perception.
