Job Title: Import-Export Executive / Import-Export Manager
Location: Mumbai (specify area)
Experience: 8-10 years
Industry: Metal Trading
Responsibilities:
- End-to-end handling of export & import documentation (shipping bill, packing list, invoices, BOE, AWB etc.)
- Liaison with freight forwarders, CHA (Custom House Agents), customs authorities
- Ensuring compliance with DGFT, Customs Act, Foreign Trade Policy, import/export restrictions
- Managing process of licensing, IEC, duty drawback / refund, export promotion schemes etc.
- Coordinating transport, logistics, tracking shipments, ensuring schedules met
- Managing relevant software/portals (ICEGATE, etc.), maintaining accurate records
- Communication with overseas suppliers / buyers
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce / International Trade / Logistics / Business, or relevant field
- Minimum X years of experience in EXIM / import-export documentation
- Good knowledge of incoterms, HS Codes, customs regulations
- Proficiency in MS Excel, maybe ERP
- Good communication skills, both written & verbal in [English + local languages]
- Ability to work under deadlines
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹30, ₹50,000.00 per month
