passionate Software Developer
who can help us transform our website into a seamless, engaging travel platform while also supporting our digital marketing efforts.

Position Overview

As a
Software Developer
, you'll play a key role in developing, testing, and maintaining our digital platforms.

You'll work with modern technologies, including
Laravel, PHP, , JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS,
to build robust, scalable, and high-performance applications that bring Uttarakhand's travel experiences to life.

This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with a creative, mission-driven team and contribute directly to HarelaTrip's vision of promoting
sustainable and community-based tourism
through technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain web applications using the
    Laravel
    framework and
    PHP
    .
  • Build dynamic, responsive front-end interfaces using
    , JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS
    .
  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and marketing teams to create intuitive, high-performing web experiences.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring smooth and reliable performance.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Develop and integrate APIs and web services to expand the functionality of our applications.
  • Support the
    digital marketing team
    with web-based integrations, SEO improvements, and performance analytics tools.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong experience with
    Laravel
    for backend web development.
  • Proficiency in
    PHP
    , with a solid understanding of OOP and MVC architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with

    for building dynamic front-end applications.
  • Excellent command of
    JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS
    , including responsive design (e.g.,
    Tailwind
    ,
    Bootstrap
    ).
  • Experience working with and integrating
    RESTful APIs
    .
  • Proficiency with
    Git
    or other version control systems.
  • Passion for building clean, efficient, and maintainable software.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with
    SQL databases
    (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Understanding of
    web security
    and data protection best practices.
  • Familiarity with
    Agile/Scrum
    development methodologies.
  • Interest in
    digital marketing technologies
    (SEO optimization, analytics tracking, etc.).
