We're looking for an experienced and talented
Python Developer
to join a high-impact, remote team supporting
British Petroleum (BP)
, a global energy leader driving the transition to a net-zero future.

In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and enhancing advanced digital solutions, partnering closely with BP's global technology teams. If you have a passion for deep technical coding, modern cloud architecture, and building robust, scalable applications, this opportunity is for you.

Key Responsibilities and requirements

  • Experience Required: 4+ years
  • Application Development:
    4+ years of hands-on experience in
    Application Development
    using
    Python
    and
    AWS Lambda
    .
  • Deep Python Expertise:
    Strong command of
    advanced Python programming
    ,
    Object-Oriented Concepts
    , and
    Design Patterns
    .
  • Microservices and APIs:
    Experience with
    Microservices Architecture
    and comprehensive
    API Development
    .
  • GraphQL:
    Proven experience working with
    GraphQL
    .
  • Database & ORM:
    Knowledge of
    PostGre
    database and familiarity with
    ORM tools
    , preferably
    SQLAlchemy
    .
  • Cloud & Deployment:
    Experience with
    AWS Lambda
    for serverless architecture.
  • Agile Practices:
    Comfortable working in a
    SCRUM
    team environment and utilizing
    GIT
    with standard branching mechanisms.
  • Location Note:
    This is a
    Remote (India)
    position with a requirement to visit either the
    Pune or Bangalore
    office
    once a month
    .
