Detailed Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute holistic data strategies that align with business goals and drive innovation.
  • Collaborate with IT, business units, and senior leadership to integrate data-driven insights into decision-making processes.
  • Design and implement data governance frameworks, ensuring data integrity, quality, and compliance with regulations.
  • Lead efforts in data architecture planning and modernization, focusing on scalability and security.
  • Oversee the development and execution of advanced analytics and business intelligence initiatives to support business performance.
  • Identify and evaluate emerging data technologies and trends, proposing enhancements to data capabilities.
  • Manage relationships with external data vendors and partners, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Mentor and guide a team of data professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices, proactively suggesting improvements to data strategy processes.
  • Ensure all data strategy activities comply with regulatory standards and internal policies.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in data strategy, data management, or related roles.
  • Proven expertise in developing and implementing successful data strategies in complex organizations.
  • Strong understanding of data architecture, data governance, and data analytics.
  • Experience with data management technologies and tools (e.g., SQL, Hadoop, Tableau).
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen ability to translate data into strategic insights.
  • Proficiency in data privacy regulations and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CDMP, DAMA) are a plus.
