Company Description

Starting as a small-scale industrial unit in 1956, Finolex Cables Ltd. manufactured PVC insulated cables for the automobile industry. The Finolex brand was born from the terms "Fine" & "Flexibles" and "O" with an electric arc across it, signifying the electrical cable business. Overcoming several challenges, the company became a limited company in 1972. Following a public offering in July 1983, Finolex Cables Ltd. has continuously expanded and modernized, becoming the most diversified and largest cable manufacturer in the country.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Costing Officer / Manager based in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad Area. The Costing Officer / Manager will be responsible for analyzing and preparing cost reports, monitoring budget performance, and ensuring accurate cost allocation. Their day-to-day tasks will include developing cost standards, estimating costs for new and existing products, coordinating with various departments for cost data, and conducting variance analysis. Additionally, they will help in identifying areas for cost-saving and efficiency improvement.

Qualifications

  • Strong background in Costing, Cost Analysis, and Budget Monitoring
  • Working experience in SAP in Manufacturing setup
  • Experience with Cost Estimation and Cost Reporting
  • Proficiency in developing cost standards and conducting variance analysis
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and coordination skills to work with various departments
  • Pune based candidate will be preferred
  • Relevant professional certifications, such as CIMA or CMA
