Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and hands-on Deputy Manager – Learning & Development to support and scale learning initiatives at APAC Financial Services Pvt. Ltd. This role demands a professional who is skilled in content creation, program facilitation, MIS reporting, and multilingual (Tamil, Telugu, Kannada) to effectively connect with our diverse workforce across regions. A strong grasp of storyboarding, e-learning tools, and video editing software is essential.

Key Responsibilities

1. Learning Content Development

  • Design and storyboard engaging learning modules (classroom, video-based, and digital).
  • Develop interactive and easy-to-understand content tailored to various audiences – especially in local languages.
  • Use tools such as
    Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Captivate
    , and MS PowerPoint for content creation.

2. Training Facilitation & Delivery

  • Conduct and facilitate impactful training sessions – in-person and virtual.
  • Deliver sessions in
    Tamil, Telugu, or Kannada
    based on audience location and preference.
  • Ensure training effectiveness through interactive delivery and learner engagement.

3. LMS Management

  • Upload, track, and manage training programs on the Learning Management System (LMS) - Upside
  • Analyse completion rates, assessments, and learner feedback to enhance learning interventions.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely learning rollouts across regions.

4. MIS & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate training data including participation, completion, feedback, and effectiveness.
  • Prepare L&D dashboards and regular reports for review with AVP – Learning & Development and HR leadership.
  • Track and ensure compliance with mandatory learning initiatives.

5. Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with HRBPs and functional managers to understand training needs.
  • Translate business requirements into effective learning solutions.
  • Coordinate with external vendors or freelance trainers as needed.

Skills & Competencies

  • Multilingual fluency
    – must be able to understand and speak
    Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada
    .
  • Proficiency in
    Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Captivate, PowerPoint
    , and Excel.
  • Strong understanding of
    storyboarding and instructional design
    principles.
  • Experience working on or managing
    LMS platforms
    .
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, coordination, and time-management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Human Resources, Education, Mass Communication, or related field.
  • Certification in instructional design, digital content creation, or learning technology preferred.
  • Prior experience in BFSI, retail, or other field-intensive industries is a plus.
