Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for an Area Sales Manager. The Area Sales Manager will lead sales efforts within an assigned territory, identify new business opportunities, and maintain strong relationships with existing clients. Key responsibilities include achieving sales targets, strategizing sales approaches, evaluating market trends, and training sales teams to enhance performance. Additional duties involve preparing regular reports on sales performance and collaborating with other departments to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Sales and negotiation skills to generate leads, close deals, and achieve revenue targets.
- Knowledge of agricultural machinery and spare parts, including familiarity with products like Rotavators, Harvesters, and Tractors.
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities to maintain and strengthen client relationships.
- Proficiency in planning, forecasting, and market analysis to develop effective sales strategies.
- Experience in team management and the ability to train, mentor, and oversee sales teams.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in sales or business development, particularly in the agricultural or manufacturing sector, is a plus.
