About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Automation Specialist to join our QA Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, test automation frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust automated test suites that ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (any discipline), BCA, or MCA

Experience Required:

  • 3 to 8 years of relevant hands-on experience in test automation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop automated test scripts using Java, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, and Cucumber (BDD)
  • Build scalable and maintainable test automation frameworks using Maven
  • Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins
  • Manage source code and collaboration workflows using Git/GitHub
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure best practices and maintain code quality
  • Execute and maintain regression test suites, ensuring stability across releases
  • Analyze test results, report defects, and collaborate with developers for issue resolution
  • Track daily activities and report via Daily Status Reports (DSRs)
  • Continuously improve automation practices, code reusability, and test coverage
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with QA, DevOps, and Development teams

Required Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in Java for test automation
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, and Cucumber (BDD)
  • Familiarity with Maven for dependency management and build automation
  • Solid understanding of Git/GitHub workflows and branching strategies
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins (or similar)
  • Proven ability to manage and optimize regression test sets
  • Experience in code reviews and collaborative development
  • Strong analytical and debugging skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication

Desirable Skills & Certifications:

  • Exposure to API testing tools like Postman or RestAssured
  • ISTQB or equivalent certification (preferred but not mandatory)

Industry Preference:

  • Candidates with experience in Technology, Shared Services, or Banking domains will be preferred
