Civil Engineer / Materials & Logistics Manager

We are seeking a detail-oriented Civil Engineer / Materials & Logistics Manager who has strong technical knowledge in billing, site measurements, BOQ preparation, project costing, and material management. This role requires a professional who can efficiently bridge the gap between site execution, procurement, and client communication by managing quotations, proposals, and material flow for private residential and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities

1. Site & Technical Coordination Take accurate site measurements and prepare BOQs (civil, finishes, materials, etc.).

  • Review drawings for execution feasibility and clarify queries with the design team.
  • Verify contractors' running bills and ensure alignment with executed work.
  • Track project progress, resource utilization, and highlight any discrepancies.

2. Billing, Estimation & Costing Prepare rate analysis, cost justifications, and market comparisons.

  • Monitor budget vs. actual consumption and flag cost variances.
  • Support management in preparing detailed proposals and quotations for clients.

3. Material Procurement & Logistics Prepare material requirement schedules based on BOQs and approved drawings.

  • Place orders with suppliers/vendors, ensuring quality standards and best pricing.
  • Coordinate logistics and ensure timely delivery of materials to site.
  • Maintain proper records of purchase orders, delivery challans, and stock registers.

4. Contractor & Client Coordination Act as a link between contractors, site teams, and management.

  • Ensure contractors receive required materials and resources on time.
  • Assist in preparing client-facing proposals, estimation sheets, and project updates.
  • Build and maintain vendor/contractor databases for smoother operations.
