Position: X-ray Technician

Location: Dr. John Arthur Ortho Hospital, Avadi, Chennai

Reports to: Dr. Peter Ponniah Jesudass J, Medical Director

Dr. John Arthur Ortho Hospital, located in Avadi, Chennai, is committed to providing exceptional orthopaedic care and services. We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated X-ray Technician to join our team and assist in providing accurate diagnostic imaging to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform X-ray examinations on patients according to the physician's instructions.
  • Ensure high-quality and accurate imaging results while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
  • Prepare patients for X-ray procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly.
  • Operate X-ray machines and other diagnostic equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient exams, including images and relevant patient data.
  • Adhere to hospital safety protocols and radiation safety guidelines.
  • Maintain and clean radiology equipment as necessary.
  • Assist in patient care and management as directed by medical staff.
  • Follow up with patients and physicians regarding diagnostic results when needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Diploma n Radiology.
  • Certification as an X-ray Technician.
  • Proven experience as an X-ray Technician, preferably in an orthopedic setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of radiology procedures and safety protocols.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced medical environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
